Crown & bridge

All of our Crown, Bridge and Implant work are completed with precision and expertise.

Our Standard Procedures include:

• Trimming every die for every unit under a microscope to ensure extremely accurate margins

  • Seating every restoration, whether it’s a large bridge or a single PFM, to a solid model to ensure every restoration can be seated in minutes with little or no adjustments
  • Using a master dental technician to check each restoration when completed to ensure that the margins, the occlusion and contacts will fit perfectly

Every dental lab can promise excellent results, but we pride ourselves in a perfect job and a satisfied patient.

These steps will be carried out for all our work like PFM, e.max, zirconia, solid zirconia restorations and implant based dental restorations

E.MAX RESTORATIONS
IPS e.max is the state-of-the-art option for a range of dental restorations and is designed to replicate the natural tooth structure for a lifelike result.

It can be used for crowns, individual implant abutments, inlays/onlays or veneers as well as for devitalised teeth or cast core build-ups. It can also be used on bridges when pressed onto a zirconia framework.

IPS e.max delivers the ultimate in metal free aesthetics and strength utilising both pressable and CAD/CAM technologies. It is more durable than other veneered all-ceramic systems and provides a beautiful finish while ensuring greater strength. When made to full-contour, it the most robust ceramic system tested to date.

ZIRCONIA RESTORATIONS
Used for crowns and bridges, zirconia creates a natural and beautiful smile that is strong and has a high fracture resistance.

Zirconia is a high-tech ceramic material that is characterised by its outstanding stability and biocompatibility and the fact that it is stronger than other all-ceramic materials.

It also produces a beautiful look as shaded frameworks are thin and translucent to ensure a natural and vital appearance.

Preparations require the removal of less tooth structure and there is no metal edge at the margin of the tooth preparation if gum recession occurs.

SOLID ZIRCONIA RESTORATIONS

The strongest, most durable construction type for crowns are when the entire thickness of the restoration is made out of a solid, uniform piece of the zirconia.

Solid zirconia restorations are an alternative to PFM metal occlusal/lingual or full-cast restorations. They are resistant to chipping and are glazed to a smooth surface to reduce plaque accumulation.

The chip proof durability of a solid zirconia restoration is ideal for bruxers (teeth grinders) who have broken natural teeth or previous PFM restorations.

Solid zirconia is also ideal when the patient lacks the preparation space for a PFM. It can be used for crowns, bridges, implants, inlays/onlays, screw-retained implant crowns and full-arch implant prostheses.

Implants

Our dental implant restorations allow dentists to provide patients with perfect results in less patient visits – and eliminate the difficulty of traditional implant solutions.

Our experienced technicians will also give you peace of mind with their wealth of expertise on all major implant systems.

We have particular expertise and certifications for the Straumann Implant System, which is world renowned for its exceptional quality and reliability. Designed for easy handling, each item is crafted to the highest-quality standards in order to ensure long-term safety and reliability.

Sport guards, bite guards & retainers

ADA provides a range of sports and mouth guards as well as other retainers.

Mouth guards, which are now mandatory for GAA players, can be bought over the counter but these are not recommended by dentists or us at ADA dental laboratory due to their insufficient protection. Proper sports guards are custom made to the dental impression taken from the player and guarantee a secure fit.

Some eight to ten per cent of the world’s population grind their teeth at night and should wear a bite guard while they sleep. A bite guard will even out the pressure across your jaw and create a physical barrier between your upper and lower teeth to protect them from further damage and abrasion
